Are there any harmful fumes produced by the silicon when used at higher temperatures?: No, not at all! Our Silicone Garment Protector can withstand up to 500°F before it even begins to burn or melt.
How thick is this mat?: The silicone is approximately 0.7mm thick.
If I purchase the NinjaFlex Heat Press Garment Protector do I have any need for the Protective Guard Sheet for Heat Press?? Do I need the Both? Or does the NinjaFlex replace the normal "protective guard??: No, you only need the Silicone Upper Platen Cover & Garment Protector. It's more durable than the protective guard sheet, completely removes the shine from your transfer, and is compatible with any type of heat press, including hat presses.
