In this guide, we are going to show you how to use our thermal heat tape to keep your transfers in place while you press without leaving any residue behind on your garment.
With DTF transfers working on just about any material or product, it’s super important that every transfer is aligned and secure before going forward with your press, making our thermal heat tape the ultimate accessory for any DTF decorator.
Whether you’re looking to press on a bag, hat, shirt, or any other accessory, this tape will adhere to anything while keeping your transfer in place exactly where you need it.
Step One:
Align your transfer onto your garment to ensure it is straight and in the correct location.
Step Two:
Apply small pieces of thermal heat tape to each edge of the transfer to ensure that it stays firmly in place during the press. It is important that you do not move your transfer as you are taping it down.
Step Three:
Apply your protective sheet and press your garment for the required amount of time.
Step Four:
Once you are done with your press, you can easily peel them away along with the tape, leaving a clean garment behind with no residue whatsoever.
From here, you can use your parchment paper for the final press to produce a smooth, matte, and durable finish.
