Heat Press Instructions for Gold & Silver Foil DTF
Set your Heat Press to 330°F / 165°C with firm pressure. Press for 20 seconds. Peel when cool to the touch. Second Press for 20 seconds. Use lint roller to remove any excess foil from the garment.

1. Prepare Your Garment and Transfer
Lay your garment flat on the heat press platen, ensuring it is smooth and free of wrinkles or debris. Position the foil DTF transfer on the garment with the design face down so the metallic foil side is facing up.
2. First Press
Set your heat press to 330°F and apply firm pressure. Press the design for 20 seconds. The combination of heat and pressure activates the adhesive and ensures the design bonds effectively to the fabric.
3. Cool Down, Then Peel
Allow the garment and transfer to cool down completely before peeling. This step is crucial, as peeling the foil while it’s warm can result in incomplete adhesion or damage to the design.
Once the design is fully cooled, carefully peel off the foil sheet. This reveals the metallic design now adhered to the garment.
4. Second Press & Lint Roller
To lock in the design and improve durability, press the garment again using the same settings: 330°F, 20 seconds, and firm pressure. This step enhances the bond and ensures a long-lasting finish.
Use a lint roller to gently remove any excess foil fragments from the garment. This final step ensures a clean, professional appearance.
