Frequently Asked Questions

Are Specialty DTF Transfers Cold or Hot Peel?

The majority of our specialty DTF Transfers are cold peel. Here a quick breakdown.

Cold Peel: Glitter, Glow in the Dark, Gold Foil, Silver Foil

Hot Peel: 3D Puff

How do I apply glitter DTF transfers to my garments?

To apply Glitter DTF Transfers, we recommend using a traditional heat press -- we don't recommend pressing any specialty transfers with an iron or Cricut.

Set your heat press to 310°F and press for 13 seconds with firm pressure. Once it's cool to the touch, peel the transfer and give it a second press at the same press settings.

What are the washing and care instructions for glow-in-the-dark DTF transfers?

To maintain the quality of glow-in-the-dark DTF transfers:

Washing: Turn the garment inside out and wash in cold water using a mild detergent.

Drying: Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry.

Avoid: Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as they can degrade the transfer.

Can I use gold foil DTF transfers on any fabric type?

Gold foil DTF transfers are versatile and can be applied to various fabrics, including:

  • Cotton
  • Polyester
  • Cotton/Poly blends
How can I achieve a consistent puff effect with 3D puff transfers?
